I am not a miracle mother of six who works fulltime and still has the time to clean the house, organize the laundry, and cook dinner. I'm just an average 23-year-old looking to make her house into something fabulous and on a tiny budget.
I probably should tell you a little bit more about myself...
I live in a small town in Northeast Wisconsin with my boyfriend and our dog, Riley. We have an itty bitty house that we are currently renting but have plans to buy in the near future. I seriously have the best landlords ever...seriously. They let me treat this house as if I own it and I couldn't be more thankful to have such great people trust me!
I received my degree last year in Journalism. Let's just say the quest for a fulltime job has been a rough one. I currently have a marketing job that I absolutely love but unfortunately, it's not fulltime. So on top of that job, I also work at a restaurant and donate plasma a couple times a week. I have big dreams for this house but very little money to make them come true!
Our house is about 750 square feet (ish) and consists of the kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a full unfinished basement, and a detached 1-car garage. When I moved in here 3 years ago, the house was in good condition. It's older but my landlords did some renovating after they bought it.

Someday we would like to build a house. When that day finally comes, I'd like to turn around and rent this house out. So I am definitely keeping that in mind as I make my updates. The house is dated, dark and not our style. My plan is to brighten it up, making it comfortable, homey, and most of all, our style. Oh, did I mention I plan on doing this all with the world's smallest budget??
This blog is just something I started for fun. Writing is something I love to do and I wanted to keep a record of all our hard work. I'm sure I'll have some pretty entertaining stories to share once we get rolling!
Thank you for stopping by!
